1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?

  • Bought a money pit house
  • Went to NYC, DC, Quantico
  • Created a resume for a professional job
  • Purchased wine
  • Started a wordpress blog (I do have a blogger blog that is retired)
  • Had a roadtrip with my best friend
  • Flew on a plane with Shane

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don’t know if I made any, and that is another post! Pshaw!

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My godson was born, via my cousin Crystalski.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thank God, no.

5. What countries did you visit?
I’m such a loser. I stayed in this country, but I traveled throughout it.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Again – another post! Perhaps the next one.

7. What was your biggest achievement this year?
Buying a home without the financial support of anyone.

8. What was your biggest failure?
Not budgeting especially well.

9. Did you suffer illness or injury?
My vitiligo reappeared, I had bronchitis for the first time and I’m currently being tested for COPD.

10. What was the best thing you bought?
Ah. I’d say my house, but the jury is still out as my roof continues to leak.

11. Where did most of your money go?
TO THE MONEY PIT!

Going to New York City. It was truly fantastic.

13. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?
Same, same, and the last one kind of depends. I make more money, sure, but I have less in my wallet.

14. What did you wish you’d done more of?
Improving my progress with the foreign languages I know.

15. What did you wish you’d done less of?
Stressed.

16. What was the best book you read?
I didn’t read much, but I guess Jodi Picoult’s “The Pact.”

17. What did you want and get?
Besides my house? I wanted to visit Sona in Quantico, which I did twice. I also wanted to visit NYC, which I did last month.

18. What did you want and not get?
Sanity? A new car? A case of Prosecco?

19. What kept you sane?
Vacations!

20. Who did you miss?
Sona.

  2. PROSECCO IS THE MOST AMAZING THING YOU WILL EVER TRY IN YOUR WHOLE LIFE.

Okay, it’s basically just sparkling white wine, but it’s Italian, and it’s my absolute favorite. I happen to have an unopened bottle in my fridge right now. Take a week of when I have a week off (in Feb and April) and we’ll be happy.
