The Forthcoming (Video!)

It’s amazing what you find when you google your significant other’s name. In my case, among other things, I found Shane’s youtube.com video profile.

I’m including a parody, dubbed, “The Forthcoming.” What is it a parody of, you ask? This video. I insist you watch it, taking just 60 seconds out of your incredibly busy schedule to view the original, professional video. You really will not understand the parody unless you do. Truth be told, you may not understand it any way.

Shane (a.k.a. the nerd alert fellow and a.k.a. my boy toy.)
Ethan (a.k.a. the husky one)
Dan (a.k.a. the one who wears the white short-shorts, oh my god)
And Bobbi. Who I don’t have a photo for because he is “Bobbi” with an “I.” Inside joke, peeps.

The video was shot at a playground exactly one year ago, after a snow storm. I did the really horrible video taping, please keep in mind (as you undoubtedly reach for your Dramamine) that I was shaking with laughter the entire time it was being filmed.

(There are more to come as soon as we retrieve them from my dead laptop. We have a mentos/diet coke experiment video that still blows my mind.)
